Intern Positions

Now taking resumes for the Spring 2012.

The Brazos Animal Shelter now offers an internship program. The selected intern will gain hands-on experience while working with shelter staff and volunteer veterinarians at BAS giving him/her the hands-on experience so important in gaining entry to schools of veterinary medicine or excellent experience for possibly entry level positions. All intern opportunities are unpaid at this time.

The intern will work part time (some weekends required) for three months (one semester). Fall, Spring or Summer.

We are looking for interns interested in the following shelter areas: care tech (see description below), photography and event planning. We are open to exploring new positions as we embark on this new program. Please e-mail or call us for more information.
